Haven’t been active here for some time, and most likely this trend will continue. I’ve never been the blogging type, started this ‘cos during the sem break had some free time. Now I’m so totally out of time almost every day. It’s the recess week, and thus I can afford to go slow and rest abit. and post here.
was doing abit of springcleaning of my room, or rather my part of the room shared between me and my bro. actually intended to do a quickfix, but ended up spending an entire day cleaning up. haha i even wiped and digged at my keyboard to make it real clean. everything is nice and neat and clean and i can study in peace now. only thing though, is that i have yet to clean up my really messy wardrobe, that’s half full of clothes that dun even belong to me… and i suspect some of my own clothes are lounging somewhere in my siblings’ closets. sigh.
And so during my spring cleaning, i rediscovered some really memorable items. numerous letters from friends long ago. i even found this little portfolio of writings i did in sec 2, which i totally had no recollections of. In it i had numerous self-written poems. haha although they seem a little silly now, but i’m amazed at how creative i was at poetry. and the english used still make sense to me even now when i look at them. haha even got comments from my teacher that it was a brave attempt and that i was very expressive. for some self-ego boost i’ll reproduce them here:

Memories
Mem’ries far and near
Etched deep in my mind
Mem’ries are but lessons learnt, and experiences of life
Oh, how time passes!
Reaching deep under
Yearning for childhood joys.
Hatred
Eyes red
Beaten down bad
Vision blurring
Head hurting
Teeth clenched
Ignoring the pain
Cruel laughter rings in my ears
Smug faces taunt me
I listened
Rage and Hate wrecking my soul
As the laughter and shouts of “Loser!”
Slowly but painfully faded away.
Me
I am Sagittarius the archer
Who hates teachers
Born in December
When my father was eating cucumber
I shall be brave
But I like to laze
I think i’m stupid

I am like a pig

The School
Life has found itself a kingdom
In a growing school
Lying in the bright west
Where the students are the best
The melodic sound they make
Opens a gate of happiness
Here and there
You can hear the thuds of balls
Now and then
You can hear voices shouting across the floor
A bell rings
The balls stop thudding
The noisy students seems lifeless
Everything is motionless
They may be having their lessons quietly
But their minds are wandering actively
Going to Say Bye-Bye
A masked face is what you see
That’s why you can’t see my sadness
I managed a smile
Hiding my new loneliness
Witnessing the time for us to part

Ok, that’s all i did. And what’s more, apparently these were even earlier attempts done at the end of primary 6, which i used for this sec 2 project. haha. really 懐かしい～
Well, I’ve been making some really great memories recently. This 2nd academic year has been a truly wonderful start so far. I hope it continues…
and meanwhile, to ensure it remains wonderful, i must study harder this time, to pull up my rather dismal CAP >.<
